Cartoon Graveyard

Today marks the thirty-sixth anniversary of the release of Star Wars, on May 25, 1977.  I drew this ink-on-paper image of a vinyl Yoda hand-puppet in the fall of 1999; it’s a detail of a larger drawing entitled Still-Life with Nine-Hundred-Year-Old Jedi Master.  A shout-out to all my fellow Star Wars fans – the Force will be with you. . . always!
